About Ronald Shuffler
Ronald Shuffler is an accomplished management consultant and entrepreneur having founded, owned and operated 12 businesses including an advertising agency, three restaurants, a retail store and a management consulting firm. In 2006 he conceptualized The Atlanta International Street Market as a 70,000 square foot indoor street food market. He designed the internal managing and operational systems including the data driven pricing model, real-time breakeven and inventory control systems, and a host of fundamental spontaneously self-correcting operations processes and procedures. Over the years Mr. Shuffler brought together technical specialists, industry and community leaders, and key mentor-advisors to form the board of directors; and consults regularly with key project stakeholders, service providers, local government leaders, and community stakeholders.
As a senior business analyst, Ronald has coached over 250 small business owners in the US and Canada and was recognized by Fortune Small Business Magazine in their ‘Seven Small Jewels of Small Business Consulting’ issue. He chairs peer advisory group meetings for executives and small business owners and writes the scope of work reports for management consultants he assigns to his clients. He became the youngest senior executive in the world’s largest management consulting firm, George S. May International, where he mentored and coached more than 300 senior business analysts to the highest annual revenue in the company’s 75 year history.
“Leadership must be calm and powerful, not urgent and forceful. People perform at their best, naturally, when compelled by a powerful and deeply personal purpose. The job of leaders is to shine light on the “raison d'être”... Businesses are people, and as such, should have a philosophy from which the rules of ethics and decision making are borne. It is important for a business to have a clear understanding of why it exists and what its purpose is.”
